In 2008 BENTEC India Ltd. ventured into electricity infrastructure projects with an aim to become one of the leading organisations to undertake the entire responsibilities of projects from concept to commissioning. This group has specialized to take up the entire responsibilities from survey, study operational requirements, preparation of schemes, getting approval from appropriate authorities, procurement of equipment, erection, testing and commissioning across India.

EPC - 3We have successfully worked and implemented various projects across India. We have worked extensively in Bihar & Jharkhand covering, Deogharh, Dumka, Hazaribagh, Jamtara, Sasaram and Godda.

EPC - 4The journey with Turn-Key Projects started from West Bengal (South 24 Parganas) to Kerala (Kozhikode, Kasargod & Kannur Districts) etc. Further we have owned pre stressed concrete poles plants in the Bengal & Kerala.

1- RGGVY IXth Plan – 24 South Parganas – West Bengal.

EPC - 5Awarded in February 2009, the project consisted of drawing Over-Head 11 KV line – 360 Circuit Km, Over-Head LT Line – 1550 Circuit Km and 550 Nos. Distribution Sub-Stations and providing Service Connections to 102115 House Holds.

24 South Parganas is one of mofussil district of West Bengal with Sundarbans on its southern fringes and Kolkata on its North. With such diversities the district has flourished in the field of electrification since the commissioning of the RGGVY Projects.

2- Kozhikode – Kerala

EPC - 6Awarded in November 2010, the project consisted of drawing Over-Head 11 KV line – 105.4 Circuit Km, Over-Head LT Line – 316.86 Circuit Km and 163 Nos. Distribution Sub-Stations. The project has been completed successfully without any attributable delay.

Kozhikode, being situated in Norther Kerala is one of tourist places of Kerala dotted with small waterfalls and hills surrounding it. Kozhikode city continues to be a centre of flourishing domestic and international trade. Its contribution to all round development of the district in trade, commerce and economic development over the years is spectacular. Kozhikode city is the marketing centre for commodities like pepper, coconut, coffee, rubber, lemon grass oil etc., produced in Kozhikode and the neighbouring districts of Wayanad, Malappuram and Kannur.

3- Kannur – Kerala

EPC - 6Awarded in September 2010, the project consisted of drawing Over-Head 11 KV line – 139.46 Circuit Km, Over-Head LT Line – 338.54 Circuit Km and 283 Nos. Distribution Sub-Stations. The project has been completed successfully without any attributable delay.

Kannur, formerly known as Cannanore, is situated 518 km north of the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. During British rule in India, Kannur was known as Cannanore, which is used now only by the Indian Railways. It is the largest city of the North Malabar region. The border town of Kannur district named Mahe is still called French Mahe, because it was ruled by French and is under Pondicherry not under Kerala Government.

4- Kasargod – Kerala

EPC - 8Awarded in September 2010, the project consisted of drawing Over-Head 11 KV line – 61 Circuit Km, Over-Head LT Line – 413.56 Circuit Km and 113 Nos. Distribution Sub-Stations. The project has been completed successfully with complete satisfaction to the customer KSEB.

Lying at the Northern tip of Kerala bounded by Western Ghats in the east and Arabian sea in the west; twelve rivers flowing across its terrain, Kasargod is an enchanting beauty of Nature’s creations. There are different views on the derivation of the name “Kasargod”. One view is that it is the combination of two Sanskrit works Kaasaara (which means lake or pond) and Kroda (which means a place where treasure is kept).

5- Atal Gram Jyoti Yojna & Tilka Manjhi Grameen Krishi Pump Yojna

EPC - 9EPC - 10The scheme is a flagship program of the Govt. of Jharkhand under which the government intend to electrify all the left over households under each constituency.
Recently we have been awarded the works of Atal Gram Jyoti Yojna & Tilka Manjhi Grameen Krishi Pump Yojna for 8 Districts of Jharkhand i.e. 3 Electric Supply Areas of Jharkhand State namely Dhanbad, Jamshedpur & Hazaribagh under which we are advised to cover nearly 3,00,000 Un-electrified Households and Farming Pump-Sets. The districts namely are Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Chatra, Ramgarh, Saiekela and East & West Singhbhum.
